When God Enters The Picture
Part 3 of 3
We have been discussing, what happens when God enters the picture of our life. We have mentioned the changes that must take place in our lives. But today, we want to mention something else, the stability we receive, knowing that God is with us.
Let’s notice the words of Ezra, even though they had been in bondage, yet he had these words to say about God, in Ezra 9:9, For we were bondmen; yet our God hath not forsaken us in our bondage…" Even during hard times God does not forsake us. We have someone that "stickiest closer than a brother, Proverbs 18:24."
Then we have Joseph, who had gone through so much mistreatment, yet was able to say in Genesis 50:20,"…but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive." At the time, we feel God has forsaken us, but God knows the future and many times, it is for the good of us and those around us.
None of us have gone through what Paul went through, yet the testimony he gives in 2 Timothy 4:17, is so outstanding, "Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me…"
This is what happens when God enters the picture, or becomes a part of our lives.
