LEGAL NOTICE An annual election for the School District Electors of Indianola School District No. I-25 of Pittsburg County, Oklahoma , will be held at the regular voting places with the School District on the 14th day of February, 2017, and the second election, if no candidate for the board member position received more than 50% of the vote, will be held on the 4th day of April, 2017, beginning at 7:00 p.m. on said date. The Board of Education of Indianola School District hereby provides legal notice that the annual school election filing period for candidates will open on Monday, December 5th, 2016 at 8:00 a.m. and will close Wednesday, December 7th, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. or when the Pittsburg County Election Board Office closes for business that day. Board Member Positions on Ballot: The voters shall elect a board member for board position No. 2, which has a 5 year term of office. The Voters shall elect a board member for board position No. 1, which has unexpired term of office.
