(Published in the McAlester News-Capital on March 25th, 2016.) The McAlester Housing Authority has developed its 2016 Agency Plan and Capital fund documents in compliance with the Quality Housing and Work Responsibility Act of 1998. In this Agency Plan we will outline policies and services that the McAlester Housing Authority provides. The 2016 Capital Fund Annual Statement will also have modifications to the 2013, 2014 and 2015 Capital Fund Programs (Modernization) Budgets as well as the 2016 Capital Fund Program Budget, Annual Plan and 5 Year Plan. The Plans are available for review at the McAlester Housing Authority Office located at 520 W. Kiowa, McAlester, OK 74501 and written comments will be accepted at that office also. The Plan may be viewed from 9am to 4pm Monday through Thursday and Friday 9am-12pm from March 25, 2016 to May 9, 2016. In addition, a public hearing on this plan will be held on May 9, 2016 at the McAlester Housing Authority's Office at 4pm. Anyone having comments on the plan is invited to attend.
