(Published in the McAlester News-Capital on November 25th&27th, 2016.) BIDS McAlester Literacy Council is currently accepting bids for replacing the west wall in the Literacy office. The job will include dismantling the present wall, cleaning the area, and hauling away debris. We want to build a new wall with insulation and drywall. This job will also include painting 4 walls and replacing the door frame and hanging a new door. Work must be accomplished with the least amount of disturbance to library patrons. Ideally construction work that leads to extremely loud noise or disruption should be accomplished before 12:00 p.m. We will secure all formal approvals in advance, so your estimate need not include city building clearances.
